Champagne J. Pérard & fils
A family heritage since 1647
For more than three centuries, the Pérard family has passionately nurtured its roots as farmers and winemakers. Our history is marked by the transmission of precious know-how from generation to generation, combining tradition and innovation in every glass of champagne.

The origins of the estate
Our journey begins in 1647, when Martin Pérard, the first in a long line of winegrowers, laid the foundations of what was to become a rich family saga. Originally from Cernay-les-Reims, the Pérards devoted themselves to growing vines, passing on their knowledge and passion through the generations.
It was around 1930 that Édouard-Julien decided to settle in Ambonnay. In 1928, he planted his first vines, paving the way for what was to become the family estate. This marked the beginning of a Champagne adventure that combined tradition and innovation.

Legacy and evolution
The following years saw his son Jean-Paul take over the reins in 1972. He opened a new chapter by turning the estate resolutely towards the marketing of champagne, responding to a growing demand and proudly sharing the art of the house beyond its original lands.
Under Patrick's wise management since 1996, the estate continues to prosper. With his son Virgile at his side for the last 16 years, after studying viticulture, together they continue the family tradition. They combine ancestral practices with modern innovations, guaranteeing the quality and authenticity of every bottle.
Four generations have succeeded one another at the head of the Pérard Champagne House, each making their own contribution to preserving and developing our traditional methods. We remain true to our commitment: to produce quality champagnes that celebrate the heritage of our elders while embracing the challenges of tomorrow.
